The Gilford Police Department serves a diverse community comprised of both permanent and seasonal residents as well as thousands of visitors who come to experience the recreation center of New Hampshire. Working closely with this community, we will provide the best in public safety service through the fair and impartial performance of duties to protect life, property, human rights, and quality of life. Accident Reports Can No Longer Be Released From Police Department
Effective immediately, the Gilford Police Department is no longer able to release accident reports or any information they contain.
In order to obtain a copy of an accident report you will need to contact New Hampshire Department of Motor Vehicles directly. Any questions regarding this process should be directed to the Department of MV. You can reach them by email at NH.DMVHelp@dos.nh.gov, or by phone at (603) 227-4040.
