Glendale Docks

Glendale Facility

The Glendale Facility serves as an access to Lake Winnipesaukee that is available exclusively for Gilford residents and residential taxpayers.  It is located at 31 Dock Road and is right next door to the newly constructed Marine Patrol Headquarters.

Glendale as it is affectionately known to the locals, consists of two boat ramps, three docks, restrooms, drinking water, trash dumpsters (for island residents only) and a parking lot with designated spaces for cars, handicap users, and vehicles with boat trailers.

Glendale also provides visitors with beautiful vistas and excellent fishing, but there is no swimming allowed and dogs must be on a leash at all times.

A permit is required for use of the facilities from April 1 to October 31.  This facility is very busy between Memorial Day and Labor Day, during which time strict enforcement of the rules will be in effect with stiff fines for violations.

Complaints, comments, and suggestions maybe directed to the Gilford Department of Public Works at 603-527-4778 or  publicworks@gilfordnh.org.
