The Tax Collector is responsible for the collection of semi-annual real estate bills, quarterly sewer bills, Gunstock Acres Village District Water bills, Betterment assessments, Yield tax, Current Use, and Miscellaneous tax bills as committed for collection by the Board of Selectmen. The Town Clerk is responsible for the registration, recording and management of all vital events and records occurring in the Town of Gilford.
Gilford's Town Administrator's duties and responsibilities are determined by the Board of Selectmen. This position frequently prepares information statements that serve as the basis for many Policy decisons made by the Selectmen. The position may also include such assignments as Project Researcher, grant writer, organizer, advisor, public relations officer, as well as Administrator.
