The Gilford Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in Conference Room A in the Gilford Town Hall, to consider the applications below. Once an application is accepted as complete, the public hearing will follow. Anyone interested is invited to attend.
1. LAKE WINNIPESAUKEE SAILING ASSOCIATION (LWSA), INC. – The applicant is proposing to operate a sailing school which will include activities commonly found at a marina or an outdoor recreational facility holding organized outdoor activities and sporting events. The buildings on the property will house the LWSA’s business offices and will be used for inside boat storage and other marine accessory uses. The property is located at 25 Davis Road on Tax Map & Lot #223-530.000 in the Resort Commercial (RC) Zone and the Aquifer Protection District. Site Plan and Change of Use Review. Application #2014000169. Application was tabled from the September 22, 2014 meeting.
2. STEVEN J. SMITH & ASSOCIATES FOR L. FINETHY REAL ESTATE LLC – The applicant is requesting amended site plan approval for drainage improvements, construction of a shed and mulch bins, and related site modifications on property located at 64 Gilford East Drive on Tax Map & Lot #213-032.000 in the Commercial (C) Zone, Airport District, and Aquifer Protection District. Amended Site Plan Review. Application #2014000301. Application was tabled from the September 22, 2014 meeting.
3. OLD LAKE SHORE COOPERATIVE, INC. – The applicant proposes a site plan amendment to reconstruct and expand an existing well pump house. The application includes a request for a conditional use permit to allow permanently placing a generator on a 32 square foot concrete pad within the 25 foot buffer adjacent to a nearby wetland, and to allow temporarily impacting an additional 638 square feet of land within the wetland buffer. The property is located at 343 Old Lake Shore Road on Tax Map & Lot #224-046.000 in the Limited Residential (LR) Zone, and the Aquifer Protection District. Amended Site Plan and Conditional Use Permit Review. Application #2014000342.
