The Gilford Planning Board will hold a Work Session on Monday, November 4, 2013 at 7:00 p. m. in Conference Room A of the Gilford Town Hall to consider the items listed below. Anyone interested is invited to attend.
Work Session discussion items:
1. Discuss possible zoning ordinance amendments for 2014
Amendment to create new Wetland Buffer regulations.
Amendment regulating the excavation and filling of steep slopes (over 15% slope) and the maximum area that may be filled or excavated.
Amendment reducing the buildable area requirement to 15,000 square feet.
Amendment to require lots with less than standard frontage to have reduced frontage on or at least driveway access to a street rather than public road or publicly maintained road.
Amendment to expand definition of Street to include a “dedicated way”.
Amendment of the Chart of Uses in Article 4 regarding uses that are permitted, not permitted, or permitted by special exception, particularly in the Commercial and Industrial Zones; and separating the Stables and Kennels use into two (2) separate uses.
Proposed rezoning from the Industrial Zone to the Commercial Zone along the north side of Lake Shore Drive from 1458 Lake Shore Drive to Lily Pond Road.
Other amendments as may be proposed and discussed.
